What is a PAC or Political Action Committee?

A PAC is a committee comprised of several police officers from our Police Officers' Association.  The primary purpose of our PAC is to raise support for pro-law enforcement candidates who support our cause of maintaining a safe place to live and work. 

Political Involvement

The Costa Mesa Police Association is committed to health and safety of our city.  We will attend City Council meetings when important issues relating to our profession are on the agenda.  We will actively support candidates for City Council who place PUBLIC SAFETY high on their priority list of essential city services.  We know Public Safety issues are of critical importance to the citizens of our City, and we want to see candidates in position who feel your safety is important to them. 

 
Many of us live in Costa Mesa and have done so for many years.  We have the support of friends, neighbors, relatives, and countless citizens who's thoughts and opinions matter.  We fully intend to use our knowledge of our city and make our positions known.

Our goal is to promote local, state, and federal legislators who will support and advocate policies and laws that advance the safety of our streets and interests of law enforcement officers and other public safety employees.  We will aid in obtaining legislation beneficial to the law enforcement profession, supporting legislators at the State and National levels who have a voting record and philosophy consistent with the interests of Law Enforcement.  We will no longer sit idly by on the sidelines, trusting our elected officials to "do the right thing."  This website will be used to keep you updated on our position on matters concerning your safety.
